A 26 year old Kerrobert resident passed away while playing in a rec hockey game and on Saturday March 6th, an event is being held to honour his memory and help out the family he left behind.

They're preselling 300 day passes for 50 dollars each. Tickets for the game are 10 dollars at the door for adults or 5 dollars for students and tickets to the auction are 20 dollars at the door.

Event Chairperson Troy Snyder describes Volk as a gentleman and outstanding athlete, and all proceeds go towards his son's trust fund.
